1940s & 1950s Remembrance Weekend at The Horseshoes, Nuneaton | 7–8 November 2026
Step back in time this Remembrance Weekend as The Horseshoes Pub in Nuneaton transforms into a 1940s and 1950s-inspired venue for two days of live entertainment, nostalgic music, food and remembrance.
Experience the atmosphere of wartime Britain and the fabulous 1950s, with vintage decorations throughout the pub, classic music and a weekend bringing the local community together.

Christmas is coming to Nuneaton, and we're kicking off the festive season in style!
Join us at The Horseshoes Pub, Nuneaton, on Saturday 28th November 2026, for our annual Christmas Light Switch-On celebration, bringing together festive music, Christmas carols, live entertainment, food, stalls and plenty of Christmas cheer!
Whether you're looking for Christmas events in Nuneaton, festive family activities or a great night out with friends, come and celebrate the start of the Christmas season with us.
🎅 SATURDAY 28TH NOVEMBER – FROM 5PM
🎶 6:30PM – Christmas Carols
Get into the festive spirit with traditional Christmas carols as we count down to the big switch-on.
🎄 7:30PM – Christmas Light Switch-On
Watch The Horseshoes light up for Christmas as we officially switch on our festive decorations and welcome the Christmas season!
🎸 8PM – Live Band
Keep the celebrations going with live music, great atmosphere and a proper festive Saturday night at The Horseshoes.
🍽️ FOOD, FESTIVE STALLS & CHRISTMAS ATMOSPHERE
Enjoy delicious food, browse the stalls and soak up the festive surroundings as The Horseshoes transforms into a Christmas wonderland.

Yes, well behaved dogs are certainly allowed in! We have water bowls, blankets, and a selection of dog treats for your best friend to enjoy.

Of course! Children are welcome at the Horseshoes. To help everyone enjoy their visit, we kindly ask:
No running around the pub.
No screaming or shouting.
Please respect other customers, staff and our pub.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

We serve food on occasion, most events will have a variety of meals available. We have recently stared servin food on Wednesdays.

We don’t book or reserve tables here at The Horseshoes, simply pop in, find a spot and make yourself at home. If you’re joining us for a popular event, we recommend arriving early.

We do not currently show Sky Sports or TNT Sports at the pub, we concentrate more on events and entertainment. However, we always show international tournaments such as:

The Olympics

Yes! We have an award-winning beer garden! We have a covered area with seating and heaters, we also have an open area with seating to enjoy the sunshine and beverages!
